Kent Mining Heritage: Betteshanger Art Print

Easily one of the hardest drawings I've ever completed! And also one of the most requested! This montage piece, drawn completely in fineliner pen celebrates the heritage and history of Betteshanger Colliery.
It features intricate sketches of the Betteshanger shaft, the waiting miner statue, Almond house, pit check, lamp, self-rescuer, helmet and a dudley water bottle.

Deal is incredibly proud of it's mining history and I hope this print will be the perfect celebration of that. Every print will be signed and numbered out of 50.

I enlisted the help of local historian Colin Varrall for reference photos for this piece, and the blessing of the Kent Mining Museum, and I'll be donating £2 from each print sold to the museum charity.
